Photograph Notes: Do you really think the carved woodwork under the pulpit could support the pulpit and preacher? It is a fancy; the pulpit is supported by the wall behind. The side chapel beyond was for the servants from Shobdon Court; there was a fireplace on the opposite side of the nave for the lord and his family but the servants froze under the watching eye of the priest
