These needle Clips are for the Derbi Senda Xtreme, Xrace, DRD standard DELLORTO PHVA 17.5mm Carburettors. These are also fitted to many other mopeds and bikes. Derbi, Gilera, Rieju, AJS, Aprilia.

I have included images of the needle and carburettor too and a few tips on fitting but you are buying two clips.

A top tip... Don't every buy one because I guarantee that you will drop one whilst fitting it!

Pictures show me fitting one to a phbn 16mm carb needle while I was tuning a Rieju mrt 50 supermoto with the AM6 engine.

The method of fitting to your Derbi Senda is the same.

These are fiddly and tricky to fit so prepare yourself and ensure that your work area is clean. You don't want to drop this as its really small!

You will receive two clips just in case you lose one!

I lay down a clean cloth and ensure that the needle is clean. I use metal polish to clean the needle.

Use a small pair of pliers and hold the edge of the clip. See the last picture. I use cranked pliers.

Line the clip up with the required cut away on the needle and push the clip down onto the needle.

The clip won't go all the way on but should locate itself.

Then you can pick up the needle, turn it over and put pressure on the clip onto something hard. I used the back of the pliers.

The clip will snap into place.

Ensure that the clip is correctly located, see the pictures.

Refit the needle into the throttle slide, place the plastic retainer on top. Ensuring that the peg and recess underside locates properly.

Refit spring into cable end, push the spring back and then hook the cable end into the plastic retainer. Pull the cable through the slot in the throttle body.

Condition is New. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class unless you require 1st class postage which is £1 extra.
