Opus BT-C3100 Charger Cooling Upgrade

This replaces the base of your existing charger.

It incorporates an 80mm diameter X 25mm deep cooling fan (now upgraded to an Arctic P8 Fan) in a 3D printed case.

This fan is used instead of the tiny (and sometimes very noisy) cooling fan that comes with the charger.

The fan originally fitted to the charger is left in the charger – There is no need to remove it.

The new fan draws much more air through the charger resulting in much cooler operation.

Without this upgrade you will find that the charger stops its charge/discharge cycle and waits to cool down before resuming.

Fit this upgrade and the cooling is so improved that it never stops to cool down.

In summary:

• Charger runs much cooler - better for the charger electronics - longer life.
• Better accuracy of testing cycles - electronics run at constant temperature, not overheating all the time.
• Cells being charged/discharged run much cooler - better life/performance.
  
• No more overheating shutdowns - charger runs 100% of the time charging/discharging.
• Charger takes less time to run charge/discharge cycles – you can run more cells through it per day.
• The upgrade is fitted with the correct plug to fit the socket from which you unplug the original fan – no soldering, cutting of wires or pulling plug housings off!
• A small Phillips screwdriver is all you need.
