This blanket is a mix of vintage and contemporary components. It started as a quilt top that was purchased at an estate sale in New Milford, CT in the 1980's. Unfortunately, the top had never been made into a quilted item. We love the muted, soft and comfortable colors - especially since we no longer see these colors in today's quilts. Most importantly, the quilt top was sewn together by hand.

We felt it would be a shame to not finish this vintage top and make it into the contemporary quilt it deserves to be. We used a high loft batting, a soft pale blue cotton fabric for the back and added hanging loop and then hand quilted it into existence.

The result is a cozy, warm blanket (or throw) - great for napping. There is also a hanging sleeve sewn onto the back of the throw should you prefer to hang it on a wall.  We love it!

We ship after funds are released to us. Depending upon when you order, holidays, weekends, your Buyer score and when this venue releases funds, shipment can be delayed.  This can cause handling time to exceed four (4) days.  Please plan accordingly.

Return Policy: There are no refunds. If you would like to EXCHANGE an item, you may do so within three (3) business days from the date of receipt. HOWEVER,
YOU MAY NOT RETURN ITEMS FOR EXCHANGE VIA THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. The USPS has lost items, without recourse. So again, we do not allow returns via the USPS.

 

If you are exchanging an item, it must be returned in original condition to qualify for an exchange. In the rare case you wish to exchange an Amish Spirit item you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Exchange shipments must be initiated within three (3) business days from date of receipt of goods, and, returned via UPS or FedEx. (No USPS accepted.) A credit towards the purchase of another item – excluding seller fees, insurance and shipping costs – will be applied to a replacement item of equal value. Should you chose to exchange your original purchase for an item of greater value, you will be invoiced and responsible for paying the difference. When applicable, you will be reimbursed for the difference on items of lesser value

Item(s) must be wrapped and sealed in plastic (bags are OK) and then placed in a clean corrugated cardboard box.
All edges and corners of this box must be taped.
Insure the package for the full amount of the item.
Pay shipping and insurance fees.
Notify Amish Spirit of the tracking number for and shipping service of your shipment.
