VINTAGE "BINKYS PERFECT TEETHER" 1940's

This vintage baby teether is quite firm.  I'm presuming back in the 1940's that it might have been softer and just hardened up over the years?  It is a tan color and has the raised lettering around the larger circle, "Binkys Perfect Teether".  Around the smaller circle which a strlng could be strung through are the words "Made in U.S.A."  The Binkys Baby Products Company was located in New York.  I couldn't find any further information on the company.  It is in overall very good condition consistent with its age.  Your grandmother's (or great-grandmother's) teething ring.  :)
