around the world. Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years
old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been
stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of
storage and may have that military surplus smell.
Swiss Alpenflage M83 Camo Lightweight Combat Jacket Size L & XL
- The Swiss military made these lightweight jackets out of one of the most popular Camo patterns to come out of the 1980s—Alpenflage. In typical Swiss fashion, everything about these jackets is sturdy and well made. They consist of the following; two breast pocket, left sleeve pocket, adjustable side attachment loops, shoulder epaulets, a zippered front, a sturdy cotton/poly 50-50 mix material, and 6-inch zippered sleeves.
- All of the jackets are in excellent to non-issued condition. No damage, repairs or stains. Very nice, grade 1 Swiss military surplus jackets.
- The chest on the 52-L is an app. 45" (measured all of the way around the outside of the jacket) or 22 1/2" pit to pit, it is 21" across the shoulders and the sleeves are 24 1/2" measured from the outside seam of the shoulder to the tip of the sleeves. Length is app. 28 1/2" from the bottom of the collar to the bottom hem of the jacket. It is a very comfortable size large, borderline XL.
- The chest on the 56-XL is an app. 50" (measured all of the way around the outside of the jacket) or 25" pit to pit, it is 21" across the shoulders and the sleeves are 25" measured from the outside seam of the shoulder to the tip of the sleeves. Length is app. 30".
- It is a very comfortable size XL, borderline XXL.
- The unique Swiss Alpenflage Fall Camo pattern is a favorite among hunters for its tan, brown, green and red leaf design. Very effective for fall and early winter. It is also an awesome pattern for Air Soft enthusiasts. These may not be for everybody but you gotta' admit that they're pretty cool. Made in Switzerland for the Swiss military.
