Fantastic, one of a kind, over sized antique 19th century American Empire carved dragons arm chair.

This fabulous chair features hand carved dragons on the back with long curved arms connecting to turned and channeled column front legs.

It still retains the original sprung seat and red velvet upholstery which is still very comfortable and strong with the red velvet and brocade trim being aged and faded but still in great shape for it's age and adds to it's old world charm.

There is splitting to the carved dragons and the left side panel and there are marks and imperfections throughout as shown in the pictures. I encourage you to please study the pictures carefully and more pictures are available upon request.

Over all this impressive chair has developed a wonderful aged patina with beautiful flame mahogany to the back panel. It is very heavy and is in solid sturdy condition with age appropriate flaws.
