Highland regiment cap badges look so much better when displayed with their correct tartan swatches. 

Here is an Ancient Campbell swatch for the Lorne Scots of Canada cap badge.  It is 100% pure kilt weight wool, measuring a little over the regulation 3" x 3".  The regimental storesman told me that the swatch can be cut from anywhere in the tartan sett and that's the way the regiment has always done it.  Historical photos bear this out.
