Kantronics 1200 baud to IC-9700 interface cable
This TNC to radio cable connects the 1200 baud DB-9 RADIO port of your Kantronics KPC-2, 3, 3Plus, 2400, 9612, 9612 Plus, 9612 XE, KAM, KAM Plus, KAM XL, KWM-1200, KWM-9600, MT-1200 and others to a transceiver to the Icom IC-9700 transceiver. The rear panel ACC port on the IC-9700 has a significant delay built into the transmit audio line. The radio is still transmitting audio after the modem has finished sending the packet and has unkeyed the radio. The result is an incomplete packet being sent that prevents a connection. This cable uses the MIC and PHONE jacks on the front of the radio to allow the IC-9700 to be used with an external modem.
This is a plug and play TNC to radio cable. Overall length - 4 feet. We are a Kantronics authorized dealer and provide telephone support for the items we sell.
