This antique hardcover first edition is bound in gray pictorial boards, with red and black lettering and a cover illsutration showing a man and three little devils. Spine lettering and decorations are gilt. Some cover soil, edgewear; inner pages very slightly browned; mostly a clean, tight copy. Translated by Adolphus Norraikow, the book contains a short note by the translator, and three short stories: "Ivan the Fool," "A Lost Opportunity" and "Polikushka." 172 pages; approx. 5"x7".
