Item DescriptionThis listing is for the EXACT knife in the photos. From an estate collection in the Tupelo Area comes this all brass folding 1 blade pocket knife. Manufacturer was one of the craftsmen in Thailand, who had plenty of brass but not much steel. Type is metal handled 1 blade Jack Knife. Construction is entirely brass. Overall length is 5 1/2 inches open; 2 5/8 inch blade length; and 3 1/4 inches closed. Blade width is about 3/8 inch at the finger groove. Mechanism is excellent; blade to backspring fit is excellent. Weight is 49 grams, so no sacrifice of material or light weight. We estimate this knife was manufactured in the 1960s; we further suspect that one of the North Mississippi Veterans brought it back from Vietnam. It is certainly period correct for that period of Southeast Asian history. We’re offering it for only $ 39.00.
