This beautiful table is hand made by wood worker artist J.H. Witham in 1981 *(as it is signed on the bottom by this artist)!  It is made of solid walnut wood and measures 27-1/2" long x 22-1/2" wide x 20" high.  There is an inset tole tray that is perfectly shaped for the opening and is hand painted with gold leaves and green leaves outlined in gold.  There are also small white flowers sprinkled here and there on the tray for a beautiful effect.  It's a timeless piece of art. The tray has some wear on it, which is to be expected for a piece that is 40 years old now.

I did some research on J.H. Witham & have found his tables that are complete and intact, like mine, are selling for quite high prices at various auction houses and high end furniture/jewelry stores.

The table finish is in excellent condition and it's even finished on the underside and below the tray insert.  The armature on the legs of the table all fit into a finial underneath the table giving it a beautiful and distinctive look.  It's a nice lightweight table as it's only 12 lbs. 12 oz. and is easy to move around a room.

Note: I took pictures of the table with the tray in and out so you could see the dimensions of the table.  I also took pics. with a flash and without a flash, so that you can see the color of the table in very bright light, although the true color is a darker rich walnut color.

I'm always happy to answer questions, so please feel free to ask them!  Thank you for looking!
