Description

The RIDGID K-40 (71702) Drain Cleaning Machine with Manual Feed, C-13IC 5/16 in. Inner Core Cable and Inner Drum (115V) will clean secondary drain lines (such as found in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms) from 3/4" to 2 1/2" in diameter with the correct cable. The K-40 can be used in two positions (both horizontally and vertically) to allow better access to the drain being cleaned. Depending on cable choice (additional cables sold separately), the drum will hold up to 50 feet of cable.

The K-40 is powered by a quiet 175-watt induction motor. The machine is grounded and supplied with a GFCI built into the cord. A FWD/OFF/REV switch controls drum and cable rotation and a pneumatic foot switch provides ON/OFF control of the motor.

The K-40 uses a manual feed, which requires that the cable be fed in and out of the drain by hand. The two piece twist-lock drum will not dent or corrode, and allows easy access to the inner drum. The inner drum allows quick cable change out, helps prevent cable damage from flip over in the drum, and reduces the likelihood of drum leakage.
