If you want a high oil, high attract bag and stick mix - look no further! This mix is designed to be pretty simple in make up, consisting of a straight 50% top quality crushed hemp seed and 50% crushed trout pellet. The mix gets its 'Black Gold' nickname due to the oily slick it gives off in the water - it's literally like you've struck oil!
Our crushed hempseed is pretty epic, even if we do say so ourselves! Although dry, its not been over-dried like many out there, so retains a massive amount of nutty oily goodness - give it a little squeeze in your hand and the oil comes straight off onto your fingers!
The crushed Trout Pellets are sourced from Skrettings, well known for manufacturing some of the finest fish feeds available. The pellets are ground down to a fine powder, and twinned with the crushed hemp, give a double oily hit of carp-tastic attraction!
Mixed in house by hand, the finished PVA Bag & Stick Mix is designed to leave a perfect carpet of feed of bait around your hookbait. Great for use with a single hookbait approach or during winter when carp eat less.

About Us… we’ve been angling since childhood at Boost and have been involved in carp fishing specifically since the late eighties. Whilst we’ve always had our hands in a bait mixer, over the last twenty years we’ve also been heavily involved in online angling publications, tackle sales, and for more than a decade have been involved in fisheries management; acquiring and developing our own carp fisheries and syndicate waters. It’s safe to say that in all this time we’ve seen almost every fad come and go… and in many cases, come back again! However the basics of watercraft remain the same – put a quality bait in the right place at the right time and you’ll have as good a chance as any.
Our ethos at Boost is to cut away at all the nonsense and concentrate on the basics. Our baits are designed to catch fish – not anglers. As Public Enemy put it… don’t believe the hype. We take immense pride in our work. Every hookbait is hand rolled in the UK by anglers passionate about bait - not made using machines by some poor soul earning less than minimum wage in a vast Euro feed-plant.
We have a simple ethos at Boost - if we would not be happy to fish with it ourselves, it does not go out of the door!
