Item Description
Our wheels is characterized by its super stiff yet lightweight medium profile aluminum rim. Stiffness is generated via the big cross section and thanks to the 18 mm internal width and the tubeless-ready design, it is ideally equipped for the use of modern road - gravel and cyclocross bike tires. The wheelset is a wheel that excels on any terrain, transfers every bit of energy into forward momentum and takes every corner with Swiss precision.
Equipped with a 18mm inner wide, tubeless ready aluminum rim, DT Swiss Competition Race spokes , 350 straightpull hubset . Axles 12x100mm, 15x100mm thru axles or 9x100mm quick releases in front, 135x5 quick relases, 12x142x in the rear.
SPLINE® Technology
With straight pull spokes and the use of specific lacing, superlight hubs as well as high end rims featuring key DT Swiss technology, SPLINE® wheels make for a perfect training and racing partner.
Straightpull Technology
The term Straightpull refers to spokes with no bend at the head. This design allows for an ideal strength to weight ratio when compared to conventional spokes. Due to their more precise alignment and direct trajectory, straight-pull spoke technology creates a stiffer, more responsive wheel.
DT Pro Lock® technology:
The patented locking system is based on a special pre-applied dual compound adhesive, which coats the nipple threads. As soon as the nipples are twisted, the dual compound adhesive starts to react and is completely hardened after 6 - 7 hours. If necessary, the wheel can be used immediately after assembling. The wheel can be completely re-trued several times, but the adhesive effect decreases with each re-truing.
