Saved from being tossed into the trash bin after an estate sale, this sweet little plastic pocket comb (with metal tines) is still in its original plastic sleeve just waiting for a Japanese manga fan to give it a forever home.

Doraemon, is an earless robot cat from the 22nd century sent to take care of Nobita Nobi by Sewashi Nobi—Nobita’s future grandson—so his descendants may have a better life.

Created by Fujiko F. Fujio and first serialzed December of 1969, Doraemon has become a media franchise and a Japanese cultural icon. In 2008, the Japanese Foreign Ministry named Doraemon as Japan’s first “anime ambassador”
