Vintage AMERICAN FAMILY OF THE EARLY REPUBLIC PAPER DOLLS Book. This collection contains a total on 9 dolls and 46 authentic costumes in full color showing the family at work in the home, on the land, smartly outfitted for an excursion into town, dressed for a winter outing and elegantly attired for a family wedding.

The family's wardrobe reflects the Americanization of English Regency and French Empire styles, accurately displayed in such items as cotton pantaloons, denim trousers, "hessian" boots, turkey-red works shirts, caped overcoats and stylish cutaways for the men.  Outfits for the ladies include a high-waisted dress of checkered gingham, a green velvet dress, a white on white embroidered day dress with a short jacket of flowered chintz and a wedding dress of white satin trimmed in a rose and leaf design, as well as marine uniforms of the period and children'sclothing.

Uncut and has never been played with. In excellent condition. Every page has been photographed and is sold as seen in photos.
