These exhaust gas recirculation units have been properly disassembled , Chemically cleaned and examined for any components that are Worn / Damaged / Out of Calibration. The EGR ECU/Brain would under go a number of electronic tests. Any items that fail would be replaced the EGR VALVE then would be reassembled and tamper proof marks would be applied. A full functional test would also be carried out before being dispatched to you.
