UPDATE:  As of January 15th, 2022, the Simpich Family has closed their Character Doll business completely.  They had stopped making dolls a few years ago, but had continued to sell dolls, some on consignment, etc.  Your opportunities to buy a particular doll may become very limited.  

A VERY RARE DOLL!

Simpich Character Doll, Carollers series - "Joy Bringer - Salvation Army Woman."  Excellent condition.  

According to the Simpich website, this doll was only produced in 1987.  This doll does have "1990" written on the base, but perhaps that is the year it was sold.  It is a numbered doll - # 705/1500.

She is leaning forward slightly.  I will leave that for the new owner to correct.  Otherwise, she is in excellent condition.

She really is quite charming!
