VRS Army Lynx of Vrbas Patch

The Army of the Republika Srpska, abbreviated VRS, was the armed force of the Republika Srpska. It was established under the name of the Army of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 12, 1992 by the decision of the National Assembly of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It existed from 12 May 1992 to 1 January 2006, after which it joined the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
