This Natural Stone Alabaster Bowl Bobeche is new. Even though it is new, it will have "imperfections" that are natural to this cut stone and slight variations according to where it was cut in the vein of alabaster stone. This bobeche has a carved feather or vine/leaf design around the edge. The fitter opening in the center of the bobeche is 1 1/8".

I have multiples of this bobeche available. I rescued these bobeches some years ago from a warehouse that was being torn down. It was my understanding they were made and shipped from Italy.

Bobeches are used to accent chandeliers, wall sconces and taper candles. With candles the bobeches are also functional, meant to catch dripping wax to protect furniture and other surfaces. These beautiful alabaster stone bobeches may be used for restoring vintage lighting or creating new one of a kind pieces.
