A SUPERB QUALITY PAIR OF ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN VIENNA BRONZE LIONS - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC WITH WONDERFUL FACES AND DETAILED MODELING, DATING TO C 1870-1910.  PART OF A WONDERFUL COLLECTION!

These 2 Lions are superb museum quality Austrian Vienna Bronzes (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze).  They date to c1900.  They are clearly of the highest quality of Vienna Bronzes.

The paint is in excellent period condition with paint loss commensurate with its age.  These are antique vienna bronzes, not new reproductions!  They are unsigned but marked with numbers on one foot from the collector these belonged to.  Please see our other auctions for more early Vienna Bronzes from this collection.

The bronze lions are 1 inch (26mm) tall, and 3 3/4 inches (9.5cm) long. There is no damage to the bronzes.  The bronzes are solid.
