Andre Krafft: A French twentieth century painter, he studied art techniques in Paris. He began exhibiting his art there in the 1930's. At the end of the Second World War concentrated almost exclusively on scenes of Paris and its environs, in both oil and watercolour.
His drawings and paintings depict both popular Paris landmarks and some less familiar views. His Paris views demonstrate a fine sense of coloration combined with his unique, stylized representations of figure and form, capturing the atmosphere surrounding the area on a sunny day
