Very rare vintage Military WWII JUNGHANS J59 Lever Escapement wristwatch From1930's. Mechanism is made by Felsa S.A., Grenchen, Switzerland. Chrom plated case is in good external condition, with signs of use proportional to the age in form of worn chrome on the case, which can be refurbished. Two toned, light beige and dark beige, dial is slightly patinated with white marks and black inscriptions which are preserved. Luminescent Radium numbers have faded over time but are visible, and can be refurbished. Working smoothly and keeping time accuratelly by Junghans J59 handwinding mechanism with lever escapement, 7 jewels and sub second. Mechanisam is marked by double zero, 00 , wich means that is first movement Junghans used with lever escapement, and with separate escape wheel bridge. The caliber Junghans J59 exist in two versions, but earlier movement, from the first series, of the caliber Junghans J59 is with lever escapement, separate escapement wheel and its marked by 00. The caliber Junghans J58 and the caliber J59 are not in-house caliber. They are made by Felsa S.A., Grenchen, Switzerland. The watch is developed and produced in the Junghans factory Schwenningen, Germany. The watch was used during WorldWarII. Really very rare and colectible piece with caracter and history.
