Extremely rare EMPEROR TACHYMETRE DIVER CHRONOGRAPH Swiss made wristwatch from early 1970's.  In excellent external condition with realy inconspicuous signs of use in form of small scratches and slightely worn chrome on the edges of the case. Two toned, blue&black dial, with all signs, marks and inscriptions is fully preserved. Louminous hands and louminous dots on it are excellently preserved too. Movable corona is also in excellent condition. The buttons works as folows, the lower button is for starting and stoping chronograph function, and the upper buton is for reset on starting position. Also the watch can be reset directly, pushing the upper button, when the chronograph is running. Working smoothly and keeping time accurately by handwinding chronograph EB 8420 mechanism, made by Ebauches Bettlach, with 17 jewels and sweep second. The mechanism used in this watch is much reliable luxury version of the 8420 mechanism with 17 jewels. (Common version of the 8420 is made with with 1jewel.) This mechanism is used to mount in Breitling and Sicura watches too. Coming with double layered black&red silicone 4,5mm thick  band with red straps on black surface on top side. Very rare collectible piece for every collection.
