About Jules Smith
Founder and lead designer of Jules Smith accessories, Gina Nigrelli-Smith is a lover of all things vintage. Her design aesthetic swaggers back and forth from 60s post-modern to 70s boho and 80s glam.

fashion-forward Jules Smith brand is up-and-coming and drives a media storm of press with features on celebrity tv shows, magazines and top fashion and style blogs.
A former ballet dancer and fashion editor, Nigrelli-Smith studied at NYU in the heart of Greenwich Village. With the images of fashion icons Kate Moss and Twiggy as her inspiration, Nigrelli-Smith forged a style of her own that is modern, indie and attention grabbing.
With a career path that landed her at Diesel, Nigrelli-Smith chose a different route that pointed to the Caribbean. There with husband Brian Smith, Nigrelli-Smith started Jules Smith next to the sway of palms and crystal turquoise waters.
While pouring her creative energy into building an international lifestyle accessories brand, Nigrelli-Smith still found time to partner with her husband to launch the urban wine label, Loca Linda which translated from Spanish, means Crazy Beautiful.
Drawn back to the magnetic energy of the city, the entrepreneurial couple moved to New York, where they recently welcomed their one year-old son, Nico. Now, Nigrelli-Smith balances motherhood with the fashion world, while being a style icon in both.
