Newport Sterling Silver Creamer Sugar Underplate Tray 16322.

Newport Sterling, a mid-century trademark of the Gorham Manufacturing Company, set of three sterling silver service set comprised of (1) creamer, (1) sugar and (1) oval underplate / tray, each numbered 16322. Approx total weight 8.10ozt. Height is approx 2~3/8” to top of handle. The sugar and creamer are classicly designed, squat with defined rims, tapered bases and acanthus handles. Both are marked underside ‘Newport sterling 16322’. The under plate is oval, also faintly marked Newport sterling 16332 and is original to the set which has been in our family since 1959 (and purchased as vintage back then).

Very good vintage condition, some surface scratches and signs of use, some tarnish.
