This postcard, or souvenir card, with unusual dimensions (approximately 5.4" x 4.2") and dating back to circa 2000-- photo printed by "Zeke" from original negative-- shows a scene from the Oak Lawn Golden Jubilee Parade that took place  in Oaklawn, Cook County, Illinois, in August of 1959.

Prominent in the frontside image are the young ladies featured on the Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce Float, as well as the Texaco Gas Station and Capitol Auto Supply store in the background.

The backside of the postcard has another vintage picture of the parade, showing the back-end of the same float and a Pepsi Cola delivery truck just behind it.

PLEASE review the scans carefully and then buy confidently.

For the buyer of this postcard, I'll send your postcard free of charge with standard shipping within the United States. If you want certified mail services (includes tracking), however, you can add $3.00 to your purchase and then I'll be happy to arrange that for you-- just please send me a message and alert me to your wish for this arrangement.

I collect, trade, and sell postcards because it's interesting and fun. If I'm selling a postcard that you'd like to own but you perceive that my asking price is just too high for your taste or budget, then make an offer or contact me and let's see if we can make a deal. I like it best when everybody gets what they want  :)
