SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 14 x 10 cm (5.5 x 4 inches) plus margins with a blank back (small).    

ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER:  Engraved by Charles Theodosius Heath (1 March 1785 – 18 November 1848) from a picture by E.T. Parris. Edmund Thomas Parris (3 June 1793 – 27 November 1873) was an English history, portrait, subject, and panorama painter, book illustrator, designer and art restorer.

PROVENANCE: Published in "The Gallery of British Art", 1840. Published by Ackermann and Company, the Strand, London.

TYPE: Antique steel plate engraved printed on paper. 

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank. 

CONDITION: Good; suitable for framing. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: A view of a full length of a young woman, seated, her head profile left supported by her right hand. Low cut gown, long necklace, her floral headdress on the floor at her feet. A stringed instrument on floor & small table w. vase of flowers to left.  The picture was purchased by Sir Robert Peel in 1830.
