Contains 2 oring Kits - one for now and one for a future leak.

If your Ford vehicle has an EATC (Electronic Automatic Temperature Control) and is stuck blowing air through the defrost vents then you probably have worn EATC orings.  Make sure you check blown fuses and other potential issues, but it’s probably orings.  Many Crown Victoria, Mercury, and F-150 owners are encountering this but any Ford with EATC can expect to suffer this problem.

When the EATC stops working the defrost vents are the default safety setting.  You can repair this problem yourself by replacing the 4 orings inside the EATC dashboard unit.  If you’re handy with repairs it should take less than an hour.

Repair notes
•    Clean the groove and piston around the old oring area before the new installation
•    Add a small amount of Dielectric or silicone grease to the newly installed oring – use only silicone lubricant as other lubricant types can degrade the orings
•    Be careful to not nick the oring groove when removing the old oring.

•    8 Silicone orings for your Ford EATC unit  = 2 Kits
