ABOUT MITCH DOBROWNER

Mitch Dobrowner (1956- ) became a photographer, after learning about the work of Ansel Adams and Minor White. However, he did not exhibit his work for 30 years. Since 2005, he has been focused on creating images that evoke how he sees our earth. While shooting mostly archival pigment prints, he occasionally returns to 35 mm Black & White photography. Dobrowner is well known for his dramatic, monochromatic storm images.
