This new petrol tap will fit your  Honda XL650V Africa Twin 1988 and 1989

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF, and RESERVE.

Note that our tap has the fuel outlet on the right and a fuel strainer bowl on the bottom., just like the original.

The casting of my taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.

Please take a good look at the pictures of my taps and see if you can find better castings elsewhere!

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original riveted fuel tap. It's really not worth the effort! 😊

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!... and binned them!

Connection to fuel line: 6mm to 7mm internal diameter fuel pipe.

We recommend replacing your 30 plus year old fuel pipe too.

We also sell very good quality, ethanol resistant E5 and E10 clear or green tinted heavy wall thickness petrol pipe. See our other listings.

Our taps are supplied with a seal and have an internal syphon pipe which is also a filter. wE wouldn't recommend removing this tap once it's fitted and sealed so we recommend that you fit an inline filter too. Triple cover!
