THIS ITEM IS---here is a bound group of COMICS from THE NEW HAVEN UNION from 1902 & 1903, starting with September 7, 1902 and going until the end of December 1903, so you get the full year of 1903. wow. this is old original thin paper, there is some tearing mostly along the old center fold line and on the right side, as shown, there is also a lot of politically incorrect humor and depiction in here, these are over 110 year old and times have changed. VERY COOL. included are:

for some reason the Funny side of the World sunday march 15, 1903 2 double sided pages is bound inside the March 29th 1903 comic from Hartford. it has THE SITUATIONS OF PHLLIS, TIDY TEDDY, UTCH THE BULLY, LADY BOUNTIFUL ENCOURAGES GENEROSITY, RAFFLES AND BUNNY the Amateur Cracksmen, TWO JOLLY JACKIES--and what the trolley car did to them, WILLIE WAFFLES WANTS TO FIGHT INDIANS,
april 5 has a huge tear, JUNE 21 is miss bound before July 26, and again for some reason FUNNY SIDE OF THE WORLD from January 5 1904 is bound inside the July 26 comics ubt is slightly missing the right edge and includes and it is 2 double sided pages. in August 16 Uncle Pike fights Uncle Sam, between the last issue in August and the first in September the long issue switches to the first sunday of the month and no longer at the end of the month, so the August last sunday is one page and the first August is 7 double sided pages. but then sept 25 is five pages and the first sunday in October is back to one double sided page. so they don't know what they are doing, switching back and forth. OCTOBER 4TH is torn all the way across the issue, Novermber 29 Simon comic is of FREE MASONRY, December 6th has PUNCH AND JUDY perhaps the first appearance,
then at the very end there are some added misc. added single pages of comics from the NEW YORK HERALD, buster brown, two from decmeber, one from October, with a cool to cut out BUSTER IN DISGUISE that is uncut,
really amazing, lots of tearing but usually in the middle, fragile paper, but nice and early, if you need any specific photos, just ask.
