THIS ITEM IS----a really neat piece of ART, it is either 5 or 6 layers of painted glass, yes there is a crack on the top layer, it is of a fisherman, a stream, flying birds and many, many trees, small in size, and origial old frame, frame is aprox 6 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches the glass you see is aprox 3 3/4 x 4 3/4. the back is marked MERIZOPHANE painting M. S. Fergus Feb. 1868 and somethig under that, there is also a little sticky note that says Marie Scota Fergus did glass painting. she was Mrs L. J. Sentners cousin late of West Chester, Chester Co. PA. the frame has an old sticker from KABATZNICK'S ART SHOP at 484 Boyston street in Boston Mass. cool as you see it, VERY HARD TO FIND. the holder on the back of teh frame is super losse and so close to falling off. it was very hard to take the pics.
