THIS ITEM IS--One item from a large collection of original art from Alexander Dennett (1853-1934) who was born in York Village Maine and died in Kittery Maine, In 1878 he entered the U. S. Revenue Cutter Service as second assistant engineer, and continued until 1895, he was active in art and made a lot of portraits, and political cartoons, but i am not sure if any of them were published or not. He also published an early book on CROSS WORDS (1933) doing all the art himself.
Specifically this item is an etching with another one pinned to it, not why the two are together, but i leave them as found. with landscape with date but no year and shoe with date of 1921
