This little mug measures 3" handle to rim X 3" tall. This is a child’s size, rather than a child’s toy. There is some faded gold on the rim, which is plain above the drape pattern. This pattern appears in a Butler Brothers EAPG era catalog from 1908 of an unknown maker (credit EAPG Society online).

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Gold rim is faded. One flake chip on the base.  No other chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.

The early American pressed glass process often resulted in items with air bubbles, ash within the glass, annealing and settling lines, and glass overage rim roughness. We consider these flaws “character” rather than actual problems like breaks, chips or cracks. We thoroughly describe all real issues and attempt to mention the most obviously seen bubbles and lines.
