How is the stove fan working?
The stove fan generates its own power by the heat from the stove. At the center of the stove fan, there is a unique thermoelectric module, which converts the heat into the electricity to drive the fan to spin.The working temperature of our stove fans is about 85-345℃. Operation above 345℃ may damage the fan and its power generating elements. To monitor the temperature better and get the fan a longer lifetime, we suggest you can get yourself a stove thermometer on the stove.
How to use the stove fan?
You just need to place the stove fan on a flat and smooth surface.The blades will begin to rotate as the fireplace heats up to around 55℃.
Where to put the stove fan?
A stove fan should ideally be placed towards the rear of the wood burning stove but leaving a gap at the back of the stove to allow cold air to pass, creating a difference in temperature. This is what generates the thermoelectricity that powers the stove fan. It can be a case of trial and error until you feel the position allows the most heat circulation and gets to the speed you are happy with.
