The Nak is fully functional and in absolute mint condition. It has never been installed. I bought this Nakamichi around 10+ year ago from Italy as a "New old stock". It turned out, that because of its age it had a minor audible defect - in Dolby B or C mode (cant recall any more) it had one channel slightly attenuated and made some acoustic clicks. So  I decided to replace all the EC-type capacitors, which was a job you would not want to do ever again for sure, as this unit is so full of boards and components that there is no room left for a tooth stick. With the new caps the problem was and is gone, and it functions as supposed now.

I bought it with a plan to install it to my hobby car from the same era, but as I have not had time doing it so far, then I probably will not ever going to do it. The unit has been in boxed state the last decade. Today I spent an hour testing and listening to it, and it still is a wonderful piece of engineering and such a pleasure to listen to. But it feels a waste holding it in the box, and  I hope it will decorate the appropriate car of the new owner.

I sell it as used and accept no returns. I also did a brief video of the unit functioning, played via an other tape dec as the TD700C has no built in end amp. There is no testing of the radio on this video, but I can confirm it is functioning just fine.
And in case you dont know - one of the things that makes this model so special is the option to adjust the tape head via the button (Azimuth). On the video you can see me doing it.

Turned out linking videos is not allowed here.
