This kit will help you replace the rear differential input (pinion) seal on vehicles with the rear differential that has 2 nuts at the input flange, one to release the drive shaft ( recessed nut, 6 sides) and the other (12 sides) that sets the backlash and needs to be removed to access the seal. This kit includes the wrenches for both nuts and counter hold for the flange and the pinion shaft.
Be aware that the 6 sides nut needs to be turned clockwise , to the right in order to be released, also the thread locker makes the nuts extremely difficult to turn, by heating up the nuts with a hot air blower will make your job easier.
Please be aware that the seal installation drive in tool ( the red colored tool part of the kit) will not work for all models, there are 3 different types. But the seal is easy to push in, slowly tap it in with a rubber mallet until flash with the housing.
