Photograph Notes: St Giles Church at Shipbourne was rebuilt in 1721-22 and again in 1880-81 at the expense of Edward Cazalet of Fairlawne. It is an estate church at the centre of the village and estate of Fairlawne. The church was decorated for Harvest Festival - this is the north porch. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4185428 for the interior of the church at the same time.
