Very well reserved hand embroidered lamb fur leather jacket from transsylvania, region: Kalotaszeg, Maramaros. Circa 1880-1920's. This is a traditional folk costume of a hungarian minority people.

Recent piece was purchased in Transylvania 1985, very well protected from a collection of a professional ethnographer and folk dancer. Museum quality item.

Excellent condition compared to its age.
