Here is a Chance to own a rare piece of History.


This Airframe Aircraft Structure Section is from an important Aircraft shot down and crashed in Normandy on 15th June 1944. It was shot down by Messerschmitt 109 flown by German Ace Joseph Priller (Josef). This was Josef Priller 100th Victory.


The Aircraft was assigned to 858th Bomb Squadron, 492nd Bomb Group (heavy), 8AF USAAF as a replacement Aircraft.


It failed to return on tour over France Mission.  It was Battle Damaged. Limped back to Allied Beachhead, crew bailed out no losses.


Crew 1 x WIA (wounded in action)

            9 x RTD (returned to duty)

No MACR (no missing air crew report) Pilot Lt David P McMurray 15.06.1944.


The Aircraft was flown over by the Ferry Crew and named the Aircraft 'MOJALAJAB'. It was named by combining letters from the name of the four officers of the crew.
