Photograph Notes: Although an embankment has been made to prevent flooding, the sea has built up a shingle bank further east, creating lagoons between. Here a row of concrete block tank traps have survived from World War 2. These take an unusual 45 degree angle to the coast - those I've seen elsewhere in Suffolk were at 90 degrees to the coast (Sizewell) or parallel to the coast. The embankment carries the Suffolk Coastal Path.
