Capitol 12-inch 78 rpm album set No. ECD-3047 is "Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz" featuring Rosemary Rice as Dorothy, with music by Nathaniel Shilkret. Other cast members listed on the inside front cover include Billy Lynn, Patricia Jenkins, and LeRoi Operti, and the producer is Walter Rivers. The story was adapted by Ralph Rose from L. Frank Baum's book, the copyright is in the name of Maude G. Baum, and the front cover illustration is signed "Diamond."
The three records are nice and shiny but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches. I've played them all on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there are no skips or jumps, and mostly just typical light background noise, but some occasional pops or clicks or light ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering devices and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment.
The album itself is in used and worn condition, with the pocket seams all partially split, and the front cover totally separated from the spine. Re-attaching the front cover actually looks like a simple matter of re-gluing the hinge tape. I'd try it myself, but you know my luck!
