The original OEM part numbers were 51023-1369 and 51023-0736 which have now been discontinued

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap to fit the Kawasaki models listed above.

NOTE CAREFULLY that our tap has the fuel inlets on the right and the carburettor feed facing INWARDS as does the original, as well as a vacuum pipe on the rear left hand side. 

BEWARE OF TAPS WHERE ALL PIPES FACE IN THE SAME DIRECTION AND UPWARDS. The fuel outlet next to the vacuum tube should be laying FLAT. CHECK YOURS AND YOU WILL SEE. IF THOSE FITTINGS ARE ROTATED THEY LEAK 😁 You have been warned!

We have included a picture of a new genuine Kawasaki ER500 tap for reference purposes only so that you can see that ours is the same apart from not being painted black.

These excellent quality taps have the primer setting so that you can prime the carburettors without running the bike.

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. I've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or stop flowing fuel or just flow continuously 

The Kawasaki seal kits are an expensive gamble too because the inside of the tap will require a day of ultrasonic cleaning to get the hardened gunge and crystals out before you can even think about fitting the new seals!

These taps are as good as you are going to buy, as good as the OEM part. I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the very best!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, we have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of the tap not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

These taps also have a prime setting. This can be used to fill the carburettors if the bike has been laid up for a while. It allows fuel to flow continuously and should not be used instead of the vacuum function.

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!

* Vacuum connection: 5 mm internal diameter pipe.
