1890's Edward Miller & Co Bicycle Lamps Lapel Stud Button Cheshire Mfg. Co.!

Cheshire Mfg. Co. was incorporated in 1850 for the purpose of "the manufacture, selling and dealing in buttons of every description." In 1901 the company merged with the Ball and Socket Manufacturing Co. of New Hampshire. Combined, Ball and Socket became one of the largest metal button manufacturers in the world. Formed 1844 in Meridian CT, Edward Miller & Co. is primarily known as a historical manufacturer of lamps. !"

This wonderful approximate ¾" diameter lapel stud button was made for Edward Miller Co. by the Cheshire Mfg. Co. to promote the sale of the Miller 97 bicycle lamp.

It is in very good condition. Please see the pictures for overall quality in detail.
