ORIGINAL 1950'S LIFE-SIZE MARILYN MONROE PINUP POSTER.  62 by 21 1/2 inches. Circa 1953. This is NOT a reproduction but an original poster from the 1950's. The poster is a color lithograph showing an almost life-sized full-length image of Monroe in a bathing suit from a photograph most likely taken in the1940s when she was a model (notice that this photo was taken before her nose job). Reads at bottom right, " 'Marilyn Monroe Pin-Up,'/write: Pin-Ups,Dept. X, Box 86, Boston Mass./ Printed in U.S.A."  Unfortunately, there is a tear across her face, but there don't appear to be any missing pieces. There are also some rough edges and a band of discoloration at her feet, but, all in all, not bad for a 70 year old piece of paper. Once linen backed the poster would look fantastic. Monroe is an icon, and original memorabilia is getting scarce.
