This is a lithograph of the Award Winning painting by Bill Neale. The painting won the best painting at the Pebble Beach Art Show. There were 300 of the lithograph made. Each one is numbered and signed by the artist Bill Neale , Pete Hood,  the  Crew Chief on the GT350R and by Pilot and Driver Charlie Kemp.The North American P51 Mustang was owned and flown in airshows for 25 years by Charlie Kemp. It was one of the few real combat aircraft left after World War ll .In the war it was flown by ace 1st Lt George Vanden Heuval of the 376 Fighter Squadron 8th Air Force out of Little Walden ,England. He was credited with 9 1/2 kills including some destroyed on the ground.

The Shelby GT350R serial number 5R538 is the fastest GT350 in history. Kemp raced this car in 54 races finished 42 and won 34, winning four SCCA Divisional Championships and setting 12 lap records. It set the all time top speed record for it's class at the Daytona International Speedway at 184 MPH. Carroll Shelby checked this speed and verified it to be correct. His company produced 996 metal models of the car which have been sold out. Greenlight Collectibles has just produced a limited edition die cast model of this famous car.

Pete Hood was crew Chief and engine builder on the Shelby GT350R during it racing years. Pete has crewed many Championship cars and is a master engine builder. He crewed cars in SCCA, IMSA and Can AM. His skill and expertise produced winning cars for several drivers.

Charlie Kemp began racing at 16 and competed in everything from dirt track cars to drag racers and sports cars, winning 200 races in all categories. He raced in 24 CanAm races and won the Mosport CanAm driving a Porsche 917-10K. He also won the Daytona 24 Hour in touring and under 2 liter class. He raced in IMSA driving a Porsche 911 to third  overall in the Daytona 24 and drove in the Interserie in Europe. Later he drove and designed the Kemp Cobra ll with Bob Riley that was a revolutionary car in IMSA racing.
