Photograph Notes: Following an Appeal in 2013, the windfarm was approved by the Planning Inspector. This is the southwestern-most of the eight bases being prepared. Two Mile Bank (byway) and Two Mile Drain run eastwards across the site, between the top two bases. It seems unbelievable that the Planning Inspector could approve the construction of these enormous turbines almost next to a route (Two Mile Bank, running down the picture) used by horses and riders and by carriage drivers. See the other related pictures in this square, and also [[[4346464]]], for history and more information.
