Up for auction is a gently used Verne Q. Powell handmade sterling silver flute. All keys move freely and the pads/key corks are in fair condition. This handmade open hole flute has .018" tubing, drawn tone holes, French key cups, an inline G key and a low B foot joint with a D# roller key. The serial number is in the upper 48xx range, which dates manufacture to 1976. This flute plays fine on older pads, but may require new pads and corks in the near future for optimal performance. There are no major dents present and one minor ding is too small to photograph. Included is a gently used French style flute case(some minor interior wear), a used Cavallaro case cover and a wood cleaning rod.
